It has been a decade since Steve Jobs, the former CEO of Apple, asked its engineers to investigate the touchscreen technology and hence came the most innovative mobile of that time, touchscreen iPhone. Apple has always been ahead of its time and introduced the world to the most innovative technologies ever since its inception.
Falling in line with its history, Apple iPhone with Apple iOS has also revolutionised the operating system platform among its competitors. Be it Google’s Android or Microsoft’s Windows, all follow the lead of iOS. Here are some of the most innovative things happening with iOS.

This fingertip recognition technology made the device inherently more secure as compared to the passcode secure technology. It was just a matter of time after iPhone 5S, the market was overflowing with the smartphones having similar fingertip recognition technology.
7. Apple Pay :
As the Touch ID became successful, Apple launched Apple Pay with the same concept. With iPhone 6 having NFC (Near Field Communication) technology, Apple Pay worked as a digital wallet for the mobile users. It provided a glimpse into the future of mobile payments and e-wallets. The features which make it really commendable are its easy set up and usability along with incredibly secure functioning. With this technology, Apple might soon think of facilitating person to person payment transfer system.

It detects varying levels of pressure and opens up the door to all sorts of exciting and new types of user interaction. However, being new, for now it is available to limited applications. It is just a matter of time early indications are that it will open up a whole new level of functionality for app developers.
As can be inferred, Apple has always been pretty much ahead of its time regarding technology, giving its rivals a hard time keeping up.
